The La Florita Syrah is a compelling Syrah from Tupungato, Mendoza, grown at 1,150 meters above sea level in El Peral — one of the Uco Valley’s most distinctive terroirs. Named after Flora Prescenda de Romano, the founding family’s matriarch, La Florita crafts wines of remarkable individuality using a diverse combination of vessels including stainless steel, concrete, amphora and French oak. This Syrah is aged in 500-liter second and third use French oak barrels, with aging time determined by tasting before bottling. Rated 93pts Decanter and 91pts James Suckling. Explore our full selection of Mendoza red wines shipped directly to Florida.

At 1,150 meters above sea level, the extreme altitude and cold nights of El Peral, Tupungato, give this Syrah its hallmark high acidity and firm tannin structure — qualities rarely found in warm-climate Syrah. The result is a wine that evolves beautifully in the glass, shifting from green black fruits to floral and sweeter notes with time. This Syrah Tupungato Mendoza is exclusively available in Florida through Unique Wines, shipped directly from La Florita to your door.
